The registration fee for the 2017 Scout year is $120 per Scout. This fee helps pay for each Cub Scout’s awards, recognition items (pins, patches, etc.), National B.S.A. registration, insurance, activity kits (Pinewood Derby), Blue and Gold banquet ticket subsidy for Cub Scouts, and a variety of miscellaneous costs that are associated with Pack activities. It also includes a $12.00 charge for a subscription to Boys Life Magazine. Although Boys Life is not required we highly recommend it as it assists the boys in many ways throughout their Scouting Experience.  If your family requires financial assistance or an alternative payment plan, please reach out to the Pack Committee Chair.

Our Pack budget is supplemented by an annual fundraiser.  The fundraiser will be wreath sales in October or popcorn sales.   Our Pack participates in this sale with proceeds going to our Pack, the Lakeview District and the Longhorn Council. Our chairperson for fundraising is Mikaela Rood. The Pack needs the support of all of our Cub Scouts and their Parents to make this fundraiser a financial success. The many varieties and excellent quality of the products offered make it an easy sale to make. More information will be made available by our chairperson.

Den Dues

In addition to the Pack Registration Fee’s, each Den leader will periodically collect nominal Den dues to help support the cost of Den projects and activities throughout the year. Your Cub Scout’s Den leader will clarify the exact amount, how and when it is to be paid. Typically the projects and crafts are part of the Den’s Rank Requirements and Electives.
